Express Scripts phase ii
Express Scripts Inc. announced it would build a second office building at University Place/NorthPark the Business, Technology and Research Park of the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL).The new 200,000-square foot building will be adjacent to the company's corporate headquarters. Construction of the new space will be conducted in conjunction with NorthPark Partners, developers of the neighboring mixed-use development NorthPark. NorthPark Partners was also responsible for the construction of the current headquarters.
Construction began in mid-November and the company plans to occupy the new space in May 2009. The newest building will house 900 information technology, client services and corporate financial services employees currently working in the company's Maryland Heights locations. Express Scripts is one of the nation's leading managers of pharmacy benefit plans. Before moving to its current location at NorthPark, Express Scripts had more than 1,000 employees in different locations in the St. Louis area.
